TRANSPORTATION

Increasing traffic is a challenging issue that comes along with Boise’s growth. Simply building more and wider roads to accommodate growth is expensive and not a feasible long-term solution to our transportation challenges.

We need transportation alternatives for people to get to where they need to go, including supporting infrastructure for biking, walking, and mass transit to ease traffic congestion and improve connectivity throughout the city.

I will continue to work with COMPASS and the Ada County Highway District to better accommodate all modes of transportation to improve public safety and preserve the character of our neighborhoods.

Housing

Boise is growing, which is great news for the job market. Yet, increased growth places a greater importance on city services and can place a strain on affordable housing options for area residents.

Public Safety

Our police, firefighters and other first responders put their lives on the line every day to keep us safe. They deserve our full support.
